4th of July almost here!

DSC000854th of July 2006 is nearly here. We are still trying to sell our house and will have an open house again on Saturday and Sunday this week. It’s been a difficult 3 months full of ups and downs with buyers signing then disappearing then reappearing a month later, now disappearing again. Another possible buyer who “Wants” the house, but needs a couple more days, weeks, months…. to decide. If we can’t sell the house by the end of July we’ll have to take it off the market and explore other options. (Sorry Mom.)

Our trip to Boston is almost here and we’re all excited to visit Dave and Wendy. We’re researching tons of things to do to keep ourselves busy during our trip. Whale watching and a visit to the Salem Witch Museum are among the list. We’ll be taking TONS of pictures so you can expect a huge Gallery infusion. We’re flying Jet Blue (and spending a bit more money for it) and they have TVs with DirecTV in the headrests, so the kids won’t get too bored. I have my PSP, my iPod, and my Laptop so Stacy and I are good to go. We’re renting a Jeep Grand Cherokee when we get there, for plenty of room. We’ll be staying with Wendy for the first couple of days then moving into the Free timeshare stay on the Cape that Stacy won at one of her industry conferences.

Branden’s been out of school for a couple of weeks now and is already “bored”. I hope that makes him appreciate school and all the activities and learning that goes on there. He is hungrier for knowledge than he thinks. Bailey is still a challenge each and every day. The brothers know exactly which buttons to push to get each other riled up and Bailey usually ends up crying saying Branden has hit him, and of course Branden says “No I Didn’t!” (sigh…)

DSC00031Summer came in with Blistering speed. The temperature went from 60-70 to 95-105 one day about 3 weeks ago and hasn’t gone down yet. Our air conditioner runs from 8:00 am until after 10:00 pm and the house doesn’t get below 80 during the day. If we wind up staying, we’re going to have to get a bigger air conditioner. $$$$ I can’t wait to see our bill this month. Kids, we’re eating Mac n Cheese and Hot Dogs this month. And we can save money on cooking, by just cooking the dogs on the patio… sizzle.

That’s it for now…

Keith
