alleymon Bailey is very excited these days. He’s started Kindergarten and he just turned 5 years old. He got a lot of attention on his birthday and felt like a “King today” (his words). He got presents from us and expects more on his shared birthday party with Branden next month. (see our new calendar)
Bailey’s class celebrated his birthday on Thursday with cupcakes and his classmate Jessica Walker celebrated hers with cupcakes on Friday. Many cupcakes were demolished by 5 year olds who really only like the frosting. (Go figure).
Bailey is still struggling with some maturity issues at school and doesn’t always want to do what the teacher wants. We take corrective action by taking away video game and television rights from him (This makes him miserable). It seems to be working and his teacher has not complained at all this week.
Bailey is a sweet boy who tells his mom “I love you Mom” about 20 times a day. Stacy melts falling for it every time. He’s got her all figured out.
