alleymon We’re thankful for the wonderful day we got to spend with Kevin’s family and Grandma Allen and the feast we shared. The children had a great time playing together again and the backyard playset was well used again. We took Branden and Bailey to see “The Incredibles” on Friday and we all enjoyed the movie. We did a bit more holiday shopping at the nearby Target store after the movie, bringing us to about 96 percent done. The rain held off until Saturday afternoon and Sunday we watched NFL Football all day.
I enjoyed having the long weekend and being able to relax at least 3 of the 4 days. We missed the family that couldn’t be with us though a phone call from Wendy helped bring us all together. We will host the Christmas family dinner with Stacy’s family and Grandma Allen, while Kevin’s family will be visiting family elsewhere.
